Eat,Drink & Be Merry- Holiday Window 2023

When my husband asked me what the theme was for our holiday window this year I replied “food.” He responded that it didn’t sound like a very inspired window idea compared to what we have done in the past. Thinking on what he said (and feeling a bit annoyed 🤣) I thought more about why I had chosen to go with a food theme. It wasn’t just “food” but the idea behind a great meal. The love put into preparing food for friends and family. The act of gathering with loved ones over a delicious meal. Coming together, sharing traditions, spreading love and care. Catching up with a good cocktail in hand. I went back to my husband a couple days later and explained that the window theme wasn’t just “food” but more about the act of gathering with loved ones around a good meal thoughtfully prepared with love and care. “Eat, Drink and Be Merry.” It feels hard to celebrate with so many terrible things happening in the world, but there’s something healing in a nourishing meal, especially with people you love. That’s what I’m looking forward to this holiday season. I hope you are too. Cheers 🍾❤️

My favorite part of our holiday window are these giant papier-mâché foods made by our team member Ellie Behm. Ellie started with a sketch based off of some of the foods featured in our favorite shop products. She then formed and painted each one. I am beyond pleased with how they turned out.
